Welcome to Jojo’s Sweet Treats.

As a child, I used to dream of being locked in a sweet shop overnight, then when I was a little older, I dreamed about running my own lolly and ice cream store one day.  But as it turned out my love of teaching and the practicalities of a teaching career fast took over any entrepreneurial dreams I had. 

However, I continued to talk about the day when I would start up my own sweet store ... the timing just never seemed right.  Recently I found myself in a position where I had a choice …do I continue in education or do I listen to that little voice niggling away, telling me to do something brave and different?

My husband and stepson are self-employed and manage successful furniture businesses – The Heart of Rimu furniture store & Just Furniture - check them out if you’re in the market for beautiful wooden furniture!  As their business grew, I discovered that with passion, beautiful products, and hard work, anything is possible.  

So this is where my journey started.  It’s taken a while to establish, but now I'm living the  dream I had as a youngster and I've entered the wonderful world of lollies!

What's instore for 2025?  We'll be participating in the Cool As Challenge, the Hot Chocolate Challenge and dabbling in TikTok Live streaming where you will see orders taking place and being packed in real time.
